Here are some additional photos related to this work: This is the first photo that I shot Descendent. I mapped it out in charcoal off of a photo that I took of myself in the Lakeshore tower building elevator in Irvine.
Sorry for all of the gloss, I hit the background in black out paints (what a surprise). I left canvas exposed on purpose (I did not forget to paint it); it is a representation of vulnerability and self exposure.
Ohh what a hansom man. This is me with a little color. I must have gotten some sun. I am still not quite done yet though; what do you say we see the next photo?
It was love at first sight. I was drinking some dirty Italian wine called "Ripasso" when I painted this and that is the bottle that you see in my hand. The painting has some additional color development at this stage.
He the two of us are. I used to know this girl who would email me when even I posted a new painting. That meant a great deal but the times have changed and now she now longer visits me.
Hear is how I would look if I was made out of expressionist oil paints.
